Pamela is an Canadian-American actress who grew up in Ladysmith in the state British Columbia, together with her younger brother Gerry who was born in 1971. She is also model, producer, author, activist, fitness instructor and a former showgirl who currently lives in Southern California since 1989. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States on may 12 2004, while retaining her Canadian citizenship.

Her father is furnace repairman Barry and her mother Carol (girlsname: Grosco) is waitress. Her Finnish great-grandfather Juho Hyytiäinen was a native of Saarijärvi, who left the Grand Duchy of Finland (was part of the Russian Empire at that moment) in 1908. He changed his name to Anderson when he arrived as immigrant. Her great-grandmother is of Finnish and Russian descent. 

She moved to the city of Vancouver with her parents during her childhood. She graduated at the Highland Secondary School in Comox (British Columbia) in 1985. She played in an volleyball team during her high school time.

She started an relation with Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee on 17 february 1995. She married with him on 19 february 1995 and their marriage lasts until they divorce on 28 february 1998. Their son Brandon Thomas was born on 6 june 1996 and their second son Dylan Jagger was born on 29 december 1997. She started an relation with actor Kid Rock in april 2001, after their meeting at the VH1 Aretha Franklin tribute concert. She married with Kid Rock on a yacht moored near Saint-Tropez in France on 29 july 2006. The couple is also married symbolically in Detroit, Nashville and Malibu. Their marriage lasts for 4 months until they divorce on 27 november 2006. She started an relation with American poker player and celebutant Rick Solomon in september 2007. The couple marries at an small wedding ceremony held between her two nightly appearances at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Hans Klok's magic show ''The Mirage'' on 11 january 2014. Their marriage lasts for 8 years until they divorce on 27 april 2015. She was discovered at a British Columbia Lions football game, when her image was shown on the stadium screen. The fans cheered for her and she was brought down to the football field while she wears a T-shirt of Labatt's Beer. Her fame in Vancouver rises, when she signed a commercial contract with Labatt's beer. The brewing company hired her briefly as spokesmodel, and appears also as Blue Zone girl for the brand. Her then-boyfriend Dan Ilicic produced a poster of her image, entitled the Blue Zone Girl which is inspired by that event.

She moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career as model and actress. She received the first Linda McCartney Memorial Award for animal rights protectors, in recognition of her campaign in 1999.  She became spokesperson for MAC Cosmetics's MAC AIDS Fund, which helped people affected by AIDS and HIV in march 2005. She also appears in commercials for DirecTV in 2007 and is still model for Outdoor Life where she appears on the cover of the magazine each year. She became company spokesperson for FrogAds, Inc. in march 2012 and became spokesperson for the Sea Shepherd Board of Directors. She does campaigns as member of PETA which has been against the use of fur.

She was the cover girl in the october 1989 issue of Playboy magazine. She was chosen in the february 1990 edition of Playboy as Playmate of the month with her centerfold photo. She appears on more Playboy covers than any other model and her Playboy career spans now twenty-two years. She appears 14 times on the cover of Playboy, which is an record which stands for the rest of her life. She was the last woman who posed nude in the January/February 2016 edition of Playboy. She wrote the foreword for the Playboy coffee table book Playboy's Greatest Covers and also appears in publications of Newsstand Specials. She has decided to take breast implant surgery, which increases her bust until size 34D. She increased her bust size several years again later until size 34DD.

She made her action movie debut as cheerleader next to Ken Wahl, Matt Frewer and Harley Jane Kozak in ''The Taking of Beverly Hills'' (1991). An chemical spill is caused by an group of embittered ex-cops, with the purpose to raid banks and homes of Beverly Hills. The occupants of Beverly Hills are forced to evacuate, when they take their chances.

She plays C.J. Parker in this story about the adventures of a team of lifeguards on a crowded resort beach in the action TV series ''Baywatch'' (1992 - 1997). Veteran lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (played by David Hasselhoff) watches over the younger lifeguards while they rescue people from the raging seas, with result that they keep the beaches safe for vacationers.

She plays prostitute Sarah in this story about Donna Stiles (played by April Bogenschutz) who the daughter is of Mayor David Stiles (played by Charles Napier) in ''Raw Justice'' (1994). Donna is murdered in the night after a lousy date with the shy Mitch McCullum (played by Robert Hay), which makes him suspect number one. Mayor Savid hires ex-cop Mace (played by David Keith), who follows Mitch after he gets free on bail. He's determined to catch Mitch in order to solve the murder.

She plays C.J. Parker again who travels with Mitch Buchannon (played by David Hasselhoff), Stephanie Holden (played by Alexandra Paul) and some others to Ohau in Hawaii for a much needed vacation in ''Baywatch: Forbidden Paradise'' (1995).

She plays bounty hunter Barb Wire who also owner is of the Hammerhead nightclub  in this story set in the early 21st century, where the USA in the wake of the Second Civil War is and the whole country in a constant state of emergency is in ''Barb Wire'' (1996). The country is now ruled by the formerly American Congress who uses fascistic methods. The home town of Barb Wire is Steel Harbor the only free city there is. This is a industrial town at the coast of California which has the headquarters for the resistance. Her credo is to never take sides for anybody and that's the only way to survive in the crime-ridden streets of Steel Harbor these days. Her former lover Axel Hood (played by Temuera Morrison) appears at the club to ask a favor of her to help him and his lover Cora D (played by Victoria Rowell) to flee the country to Canada. She finds herself as key player suddenly on high political stage and must now choose side.


She plays Vallery Irons who rescues a celebrity by accident if she confused is with a bodyguard during her work at a hotdog stand in ''V.I.P.'' (1998 - 2002). This experience led to her own bodyguard agency called V.I.P. which stands for Vallery Irons Protection. She protects her VIP clients with help of her beautiful bodyguards team. 

She plays C.J. Parker again who has invited other Baywatchers to Hawaii in order to celebrate the opening of CJ's Bar & Grill at the Turtle Bay Resort in ''Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding'' (2003). Mitch Buchannon (played by David Hasselhoff) returns to Hawaii again in order to get married again with his new fiancée Allison (played by Alexandra Paul) who looks almost the same as Lt. Stephanie Holden his former lover. Neely Capshaw (played by Gena Lee Nolin) comes to Hawaii to stop the wedding because she wants Mitch back!


She plays Invisible Girl in this story about orphaned high school student Rick Riker (played by Drake Bell) who's bitten by a radioactive dragonfly in ''Superhero Movie'' (2008). The bite gives him developed super powers (except for the ability to fly) and becomes a hero.
